The Dogwood course at CCNC was originally designed by Ellis Maples in 1963. KSGD and his design build team at SGI remodeled the course in the summer of 2016. The project renovated the Greens (resurface, expand, contour, Champion Ultradwarf), Tees (drainage, sand base, zoysia), Fairways (organic removal, drainage, sand cap, zoysia), Bunkers (remodel, reposition, rebuild, BBB system), Course wide drainage, Tree Removal, Irrigation, Select Cart Paths.
