Dunedin Golf Club

Dunedin Golf Club, Dunedin FL – (Summer 2024) SGI Provided Golf Course Architectural Design, Consulting and Project Oversight.

 

Developed the Master Plan to restore this 1926 Donald Ross designed course for the City of Dunedin, FL.  The project scope included the complete restoration of 18 Donald Ross green complexes to their original elevations, shapes, sizes, orientation and contours.  87 Ross bunkers were fully restored along with all tees expanded and updated for the modern game.  Additional work included the installation of a new Toro 2 wire irrigation system course wide, installation of an extensive sub-surface drainage system to remediate constant flooding on holes 15/17 situated along a tidal creek fed from the Gulf of America.  The course was replanted to TifTuf bermudagrass on tees, fairways and roughs to help address limited irrigation supply.
